This mug is created through a unique printmaking process in which we use a real fern to create a shadow on a screen. Our screen is printing onto our printing pad with our handmade ceramic printing ink to creates a vivid glaze plant shadow. Each mug will have slight variations depending ont he shape and placement of the fern.

Snowberry with Teal Fern: Our snowberry glaze with hand printed fern (create from a real plant)
Snowberry: Named after the snowberry bush, which produces white berries that feed birds and provide a striking contrast against winter grey. This glaze is a crisp white that accentuates the speckled clay. It is mostly opaque, with variations depending on the thickness of the glaze, and has a smooth satin matte finish.

All of our pieces are handcrafted in small batches. Every piece has unique qualities as a result of being handmade. Our wares are food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe, unless otherwise noted. Handwashing is recommended but never required.
